And there are other, non-medical professionals ready to serve you as well, such as interpreters, chaplains and financial counselors.
Special Notice to All Patients
Although we are committed to providing excellent care, we know there may be times when concerns arise. Voicing your concern will not influence your care or limit your future access to care at NUMC. As soon as possible, please take the following steps until the situation is resolved:
- Report your concern to your nurse or staff member.
- Ask to speak with the Nurse Manager or department's supervisor or director.
- Contact a Patient Representative at (516) 572-5714.
- Call our Office of Service Excellence and Patient Satisfaction at 516-572-6890.
Patient Satisfaction Surveys We are constantly working to improve the patient experience, and your opinion matters. After you are discharged, you may receive a patient satisfaction survey. Please take a moment to complete the survey and return in the pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope All surveys are confidential.
